Nadine Mentor Williams has 20 years of experience as an investment banker and investor. She is the Founder and President of Mentor Holdings & Investments, and is responsible for overall investment strategy.
Mrs. Mentor Williams is also a Partner and Senior Managing Director at MiDA Advisors, a global advisory firm specializing in facilitating investments and trade in Africa and other emerging markets. She was previously a Managing Director and Head of Southeast Regional Investment Banking for a New York City based investment bank. Mrs. Mentor Williams was a Director at Citigroup Global Markets, where she earned the recognition as one of the youngest Directors in the company. Mrs. Mentor Williams has transacted over $17 billion of financings nationwide.
In her career, Mrs. Mentor Williams was usually the only female of color working on financing transactions. This experience was a major catalyst for her to start Mentor Holdings & Investments. Here, she is able to identify and create opportunities to bring more women, especially women of color, to the transaction table while generating returns and building wealth for all stakeholders. She is passionate about increasing returns while increasing diversity, access and equity in all levels in companies where Mentor Holdings & Investments invests.
Education
Mrs. Mentor Williams is a magna cum laude graduate of Pace University in New York with a B.A. in Political Science and minor in Business Administration. Mrs. Mentor Williams earned her M.P.A. in Public Policy and Financial Management from Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs. Mrs. Mentor Williams served as an Economics Teaching Fellow while at Columbia University.
